The Apprenticeship Program is a key component of ParentJobNet’s Harlem Economic Lifting Program (HELP™) where our clients are connected to professional occupational training opportunities.   After providing clients with the job preparedness classes, workshops, counseling, and in-house skill building, we then place them into appropriate training programs and jobs. Select clients are paid for their time and training with ParentJobNet and partners. The Apprenticeship Program is offered to our best-qualified clients who demonstrate commitment and determination in their path for personal and professional growth. This commitment can be demonstrated through previous attendance in classes and workshops, active participation during sessions, interviews, interaction and enthusiasm with teachers and ParentJobNet staff.

Job Placement is provided either directly or through training partner placements after meeting with a career counselor.  A variety of opportunities are available to interested and qualified candidates.  In addition to providing job placements, ParentJobNet will assist with resume and cover letter preparation, provide mock interviews, and assess current skills and expertise to support job search efforts.

Please RSVP to (212) 362-2735 or info@parentjobnet.org
